Our Literacy Intent is for children at Bishops Cannings Primary School to:

• Receive a high quality curriculum within a literacy rich environment
• Experience a diverse range of texts and have a love of reading
• Able to confidently communicate with others
• Develop independence in their writing skills across a range of genres
